Okay, this is my own personal question. I was reading Jude 1 and verse 6 says:
“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”
I was always of the opinion that demons are the fallen angels but if they are in everlasting chains, then they can’t be? Can they? *confused look* What am I missing? Any takers?
Food for thought:
Heb 12:22 speaking about the City of God says “innumerable company of angels”. The Bible also makes us understand that 1/3rd of the angels in heaven fell away with the devil. If 1/3rd fell and the ones left are still innumerable…Let your mind run free.
Life nugget:
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
Mathematically, half of infinity is still infinity…
On the other hand, you cant quantify a portion off innumerable;
On a final note, God created them, he can create more whenever he likes
Okay from my knowledge and sitting under Papa’s teachings, fallen angels are demons, they have been doomed and appointed to chains but they still operate due to man’s ignorance, I learnt from Papa and the word of God that the devil has no power, all he has is deception. That is why God’s word says “his people are destroyed for lack of understanding. Also to buttress the already said, Papa once shared in church about a deliverance that he was conducting for someone, when he entered the room where the oppressed/possessed person was, he said “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”,….. What are you doing here” Immediately the person breathed out loudly and that was the end of the oppression. The demons are to be kept where they belong…
hmm…that’s deep. So you mean even though they are bound, they can move about?
yes, Jesus has taken all our diseases and sicknesses, yet some christians still fall sick…
Also sometimes in the scripture, some words are not to be taken literally by letter, an understanding is required, …the scripture is filled with mysteries..
We as christians are seated far above principalities and powers, yet some children of God allow the devil to dominate them, because understanding and action is lacking….
demons are the dead children of a fallen angel mating with mortal women… They are indeed bound but not forever. The book of revelations has them being released. They are indeed allowed to move about but by spirit only through summonings and wicked practices and rituals which revolve around INTENT. All of this is through free will the more you intentionally seek the further your protections are removed by the veil God has placed around them. I saw the veil once it was millions of these iron like crosses all the same size seperating them from us. GOD bless ya.
