Today is a day of Appreciation to that one person or those people that God has used to shape your life. Yes, our lives are in God’s hands and if they chose not to be of assistance to us, God will still have raised help for us from other places (Esther 4:13-14), but glory to God, they helped!
Yesterday, I remembered one of such people in my own career life- ***-*****. He wouldn’t want to be mentioned. He charted a course for me and many others into the world of Information Technology. Like a story of Romio (no mistake) and Juliet, he had discovered that one thing he would gladly die for because even before many knew how to burn a CD, he had been talking about Virtualization! He gave and still gives selflessly. He provided us a platform- a platform of knowledge.
And most importantly, he gave me an idea, an idea that is still burning in me today.
In every definition of the word, he is my mentor and although his identity (even on the web) is kept more secret than a CIA operation, God knows you sir and He will bless you, not just for me but for many others that you have been a blessing to.
Food for thought:
How have you lived your life so far? As a giver? As a receiver? Neutral?
