MAY: The month of grace. Numbers have different meanings also in the Christian faith: 3 is for Trinity, 7 is perfection, and 5 is for Grace. May is the 5th month therefore it’s the month of grace.
I was in the kitchen yesterday when I noticed some birds on a tree outside. They were standing on the fragile edge of a branch and that branch was swaying because of the wind. And then I thought, what makes these birds so confident that they won’t fall? The answer was soothing 🙂
Even if the wind blows them away or the branch breaks, they have wings to keep them in the air.
In this month of May (and for the rest of our lives), may we learn to trust in God irrespective of the storm, wind, and uncertain circumstances. John 16:33. Happy new month!
Food for thought:
And yes, we also have wings. Psalm 91:11-12 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Falling may be inevitable but Who you are falling on is what counts. Prov 24:16
