Redeeming the time

This is a guest post 🙂 Be blessed.

The title of this write-up was taken from Ephesians 5:16 and I’m not a spiri-coco guy but I heard this message last week in church and thought to share it because I felt a strong sense of conviction. You have probably heard countless messages on time, even attended courses on time management, yet you still feel you’re sub-optimizing your time. Well I will make this short and brief.

1. Maximum time you have on earth is 120years. Genesis 6:3

“And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for he that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years”

Yes but what about eternal life and not dying? The key word here is flesh, the capsule your soul resides cannot exist beyond 120years maximum.

2. On average, most people will get to live for 70-80years. Psalm 90:10

“The days of our years are three score years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength, labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away”

The maximum time is 120years and on average you get to live 70-80years – let it sink slowly.

3. The days are evil. 2 Timothy 3:1.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come”

So what’s the point of this – WAKE UP! You sleep a quarter of the time anyway

Don’t live like you’re immortal yet.

Always remember the day you return to meet your maker – so make peace with Him. Be more spiritual even though it may seem uncool. God is a Spirit and those that are His must access Him via the spiritual channel.

Maintain your godliness, believe you me it’s difficult in this world where we all want to be conformist.

“Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, from such turn away”– 2 Timothy 3:5

Your time is limited, you ALONE are accountable for it and there’s an afterlife. Seek Him, there’s a reason you’re here, FIND it and give it your best shot.

Yours sincerely
