A question I came across yesterday:
“There are 100 employees in a conference room in New York City. You note that 99% of them are managers. How many managers would need to leave the conference in order to reduce the percentage of managers in the hall to 98%?”
No ‘Googling’! Happy Friday.
Haha. Trick Question. 0.98 = 98/100 = 49/50. So 50 of them have to leave the room.
LOL. The smart one
100%= 100 people. 99/100 are mangers therefore 1 manager has to reduce the number of managers to 98%
But if you take one manager away, it will now be 98/99 which is not 98%
